Using a blow torch in your campervan or motorhome hire sounds interesting or perhaps worrying, but it’s not like that at all. If your campervan hire does not have a grill on board, then a cooking blow torch is perfect for grilling your favourite dish. They can be purchased from about AUD $20 – $40 in many camping stores. There are a variety of different styles of cooking blow torches, however we use one that is attached to butane gas canisters. These gas canisters can easily be purchased at supermarkets, camping stores and department stores like ‘Big W’.
We’ve used the blow torch to grill cheese, tomato and avocado on toast, but really your imagination is the limit.
